Who’s pouring, and
who we’d pour with.

Kid’s at the Brewery is a blog for grown-ups with playful energy — the kind that still gets way too excited about a pretzel necklace. Community focused. All are welcome. Invitation only, everyone is invited.

The short version

It started as a tab that never closed.

One table at the brewery, one group of adults who refused to become boring, and a running habit of arguing about real things over cheap beer. It turned into a blog. We write about what’s actually happening — a school that banned phones and lost its parents first, kids on iPads at the table, climate on the bill, scooter chaos on the sidewalk — and we answer your problems in Dear Draft, one grain of salt at a time.

No hustle, no guru, no ring light. Just the tab, still open.

The Blog

Field Notes, Strong Opinions, Investigations, Manifesto. Four ways of saying the same thing: this is what we saw, heard, and we have feelings.

Dear Draft

Advice worth considering, never taking too seriously. Every answer comes with a first draft and a final draft, plus a salt level.

The People

College kids, young adults, parents, pourers, recovering  doom-scrollers, and the friend who always knows a guy. You’re already one if you’re reading this.

House rules

How we behave.

Advice isn't for sale

Nobody pays to be told what to do here. Dear Draft answers the letter, it's our service to you.

We label the paid stuff

If something costs money, it shows up wearing a name tag. No sneaking.

We don't sell your email

The only thing we hand to anyone is the letter you asked us to read out loud.

We say "we don't know"

Out loud, in print, more often than is good for our brand. It stays that way.

Grown-ups only

21+ at the door, because the jokes and the bill are both adult-sized.

Partnerships

Let’s make something
worth showing up for.

We’re small, loud, and easy to reach. If you make something real for families, grown-ups, home owners, renters, or the sidewalk we all share, we probably want to hear about it. No decks longer than a napkin.

Option 1

A night at the brewery

An event, a Q&A, a wall full of answers, one good reason for people to leave the house on a Tuesday.

Option 2

Stories we make together

Reported, funny, useful — and labeled the second it costs anyone money. We keep the final say.

Option 3

Community programs

Screen-time nights that aren't lectures, repair cafés, a scooter-safety thing where nobody gets hurt.

Option 4

Product that earns its spot

Send us the real thing. We'll tell you what we'd keep, what we'd hand to a neighbor, and what we'd send back.

What we won’t do

Pay-to-play advice. Undisclosed anything. Harvesting your data for someone else’s ad budget. Slapping “family friendly” on something that isn’t. If it’s on the table here, it’s because we’d do it anyway.

Pitch us.

Tell us who you are and what you’re making. We read every one, and we reply to the good ones — which, between us, are all of them.
